Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AI Sightline platform and website at aisightline.com ("Service"), operated by AI Sightline ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account registration

To use AI Sightline, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service to monitor competitors in a manner that constitutes unfair business practices
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload our API beyond your tier limits
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

3. Subscriptions and payments

AI Sightline offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing period.

4. Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. AI visibility data depends on third-party AI platforms, which may change their behavior, availability, or terms at any time. We are not responsible for changes in how third-party AI platforms generate or present information.

5. Data and intellectual property

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service (brand names, prompts, keywords). We retain ownership of the AI Sightline platform, scoring algorithms, and all aggregated, anonymized insights derived from the Service. Visibility scores, scan results, and recommendations generated by our platform are provided for your use under your active subscription.

6. API usage

Access to the AI Sightline API is subject to rate limits and usage quotas defined by your subscription tier. You agree to respect these limits and not attempt to circumvent them. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access if usage patterns indicate abuse.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Sightline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that AI visibility scores will be perfectly accurate. AI platform behavior is inherently variable and beyond our control.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
